Emi successfully completed her first year of soccer.  She had so much fun on the team, but I think we had more fun watching her and the team play.  We are going to miss everyone on the team!  I'm going to miss hanging out with all the parents on our practices and game days.  :(

Yes, we are lazy and cheap.  She'll probably have a million of these, so we can start saving money.  ;) And... yes, she does have shorts.  I could not find long enough shorts that would fit her.  If anyone knows of a place, please let me know...  She's so skinny.

This is probably Emi's favorite part of soccer was getting her first trophy.  She came home and went straight to the bathroom to shine her little trophy again.  She was so proud of it!

Summertime Boredom

This is what happens when we get bored in the summertime, especially when it's super hot in Arizona.
We bust out the nasty teeth.  We got these from my sister and they have been so much fun to play with. Hopefully, we never ever ever get these teeth in real life.  :)

Father's Day 2012

I think the best present that we gave to Blaine this year was making it back home to celebrate Father's day with him.  We just came back from a three week vacation to Tennessee the day before, so he was thrilled to have us back.  As you can see, so were the kids.

Thank you for being the greatest and goofiest father to our kids.  We love you!!!

Brenden's Birthday!

Brenden celebrated his 3rd birthday with Baachan and Grandpa in Tennessee. He was so excited to have his own Lightning McQueen cake and have all the attention on him instead of his sister.

This video cracks me up because he is loving the fact that he has all the attention and not Emi. He totally gets his birthday now, so it's so much fun to watch his crazy personality.



We had some birthday pictures taken for my two kids by my super talented friend, Candace. Thank you for capturing their personalities! You are the best and I can't thank you enough!

My Little Gymnast

Emi started gymnastic in January at Southwest Gymnastics and has loved every single moment of it.  She loves jumping on the trampoline, hanging on the bars, and practicing her balance on the balance beam.  Watch out Shawn Johnson!  Just kidding...  

She had a gymnastic recital in May and was so excited to get into her brand new uniform.

Brenden was good about waiting for his sister to perform since she was one of the first being the littlest.  Here he is bored out of his mind waiting for the others to perform.  As you can see, he's not that interested.  

This girl loves to perform in front of people and am always amazed that she is willing to do these kinds of things because I would be terrified.  Good job Emi!!!
